Kelsey Schutt

MFT-Trainee

Kelsey is a Marriage and Family Therapist – Trainee, a compassionate and dedicated individual committed to the well-being and harmony of families and couples.

Kelsey began her career working in child welfare where she worked with youth and adults with out-of-control sexual behaviors and found empathy and care for the entire family system attempting to move through such challenges. This is where she discovered her passion for relational systems.

Kelsey wishes to help people navigate their humanness, accepting where they are while also building towards their greatest potential.

Kelsey moved to Cincinnati three years ago and still enjoys getting to know the city and the community members within it. She enjoys reading and creating new recipes at home with her partner. During the summer you will find her on the golf course or by any body of water.

Kelsey wishes to create a therapeutic environment in which all people feel seen and heard and have the tools to evolve into their desired version of self and relationship. Kelsey maintains a systemic lens within her practice while utilizing narrative, solution-focused, emotion-focused and Gottman method.

She has immersed herself in coursework surrounding communication patterns, conflict resolution, sex therapy, healthy separations, and infidelity repair. She would love to help you move forward in your story.
